Journal Policies

Jurnal Moluska Indonesia (JMI) follows a structured process from submission to publication. The decision to accept a manuscript depends on the Editor and the Editorial Board, based on input and recommendations from at least two reviewers, both from within and outside JMI. The final decision is made by the Editor and the Editorial Board.

Submission Process:
JMI takes 5–7 days to decide on the acceptance of a submitted manuscript.

Revision Process:
The review of manuscripts takes 3–4 weeks. Authors are required to return revised manuscripts within 2 weeks after receiving comments from reviewers via JMI.

Proofreading / Publication Layout:
JMI sends the final layout or proof to authors for review. Authors are expected to return the corrected proofs within 2–3 days.
